Webster's other works include Jerry Junior (1907), The Four Pools Mystery (1908), Much Ado About Peter (1909), Just Patty (1911) and Daddy-Long-Legs (1912). A classic tale of a girl's coming of age, Daddy-Long-Legs is Jean Webster's best known work. It's sequel, Dear Enemy, was published in November 1915. Webster died of childbirth fever on June 11, 1916.
