It is perhaps the saga of many unnoticed, unspoken and unknown sufferers whose tales may have got lost in the obscurity of insignificance.ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Anita Krishan was born and brought up in Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, India. She earned her master's degree in English Literature from the Himachal University in 1976. In her twenty years career as a full time teacher, she has worked relentlessly to create a future generation of environmental conscious and morally stable citizens.After her two children grew up and left to pursue their individual careers and she was left with abundant time in hand, she discovered her avocation and began to spend her free time writing. The ideas and stories lying latent till now began to surge forth with passion.While her first book 'Running Up The Hill', published in 2007, is a story of adventures and selfless love shared by a young girl and her Lhasa apso; 'The Burning Orchard' deals with an entirely different subject; of the unrest so notably existent in today's world and the difficulties it has posed for the common man.At present she resides in New Delhi with her husband.
