As honorary member in the advisory board of various professional institutions, he has in-depth knowledge of the modern trends in education and provides valuable suggestions to Universities and Colleges to confront the new challenges.

He has extensively travelled abroad and has participated in many International and National Conferences. He has to his credit many research papers published in reputed National and International Journals, a large number of book reviews and conference papers besides supervising Ph.D. studies.

Ved Prakash Sharma started his career as a science student and shifted to the domain of literature only after doing M.Sc. in Zoology. Subsequently he did Masters Degrees in English and Education. Apart from being an excellent student and a dedicated teacher, he has all along been a real all-rounder, exhibiting his talent and creativity in the field of property and music.

Presently he is working as a reader in education. In addition to the present book, his works include a highly acclaimed books on education, language teaching and large number of articles, papers and book-reviews published in various educational journals.
