The Datta sect was introduced in Maharashtra in the 14th century by Srinivasa Saraswati. He is considered to be Datta Avatar. A book about them. ABOUT THE AUTHOR : Dr. OmShrish Shridattopasak's Sant Sahitya, Advaita Vedanta are the subjects of study. He got the opportunity to do interdisciplinary studies on the occasion of his dissertation Vivekchudamani written by Shankaracharya and Marathi saint literature of Yadav period. The research work in the study of Sant Namdev gave direction to the research. About 33 research papers, 50 articles, the book 'Keeping the Name Benefited the Family', proved to be the writing of the radio program. Through writing, he came in contact with saintly literature. Thus, family worship was added to the study. He has been honored with 'Gurusmaran Award' of Sakal News Group, 'Sant Chokhamela Award' of Gurukul Pratishthan, 'Shri Sant Namdev Karya Award' of Sant Namdev Shimpi Samaj Seva Mandal, Solapur.
