This enchanting book is about a young womans journey through India. If you liked Eat, Pray,Love", this book is for you!

This book tells of her journey within and without as she not only discovered India but herself as well.

The foreword to the book, flowers and elephants, was written by E M Forster, who trumpets the author's unique vision of India, someone graced with a "gift" - a dream-like image of India not to be confused with the ordinary "Travel Impressions of a Young Lady".

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: CONSTANCE SITWELL, Daughter of a tea planter, Constance lived the life of the Edwardian gentry: London 'Seasons', summers in Scotland and travels with her parents. She went to Egypt twice, evoking the country beautifully in two books. She was a cousin of Edith Sitwell, the noted British Poet. Constance's travel memoir of India was based upon a visit to India to see her brother.

FOREWORD BY: EDWARD MORGAN FORSTER, generally published as E.M. Forster, was an novelist, essayist, and short story writer. He is known best for his ironic and well-plotted novels examining class difference and hypocrisy in early 20th-century British society.
