ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Nick Arnold Since 1996 writer Nick Arnold and illustrator Tony de Saulles have been amusing, informing and grossing-out their readers with their enormously popular and award-winning series of Horrible Science books. From Blood, Bones and Body Bits to Space, Stars and Slimy Aliens, these books cover every subject known to science. Nick Arnold has been writing stories since he was a boy and even then his favourite topics were horrible goings-on - the more gruesome the better. So you see he hasnt changed a bit. His first published work came about when he was working on a project teaching children about nature for the University of North London. This led on to magazine articles and one day Nick had the brilliant idea, that if he could write articles he could also write books! Since then Nick has lost count of the number of books hes written.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR: Tony De Saulles trained as a graphic designer and worked in advertising, graphic design, and book design before turning to illustration and writing. Tony has been illustrating Scholastic's best-selling Horrible Science series since it first started back in 1996, the series has since sold more than ten million copies in over thirty countries. Bee Boy is his first project with Oxford University Press.
