ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Carolyn Keene is the pseudonym of the authors of the Nancy Drew mystery stories and The Dana Girls mystery stories, both produced by the Stratemeyer Syndicate. In addition, the Keene pen name is credited with the Nancy Drew spin-off, River Heights, and the Nancy DrewNotebooks. Although Edward Stratemeyer created the characters and synopsis for the first fewNancy Drew books, he did not write them himself, and the actual writers agreed not to reveal their names.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR: Macky Pamintuan was born and raised in the Philippines. He moved to San Francisco at age twenty-one and received his fine arts degree from the Academy of Art College.
