ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
Mallikarjuna Reddy, a well-known researcher in the field of agricultural science, is having morethan twenty years of experience in research and teaching. He has led several research anddevelopment projects and guided more than 10 Ph.D. students.
A horticulturist by specialisation, he has worked in different areas including arboriculture, floriculture, landscape horticulture, agriculture and postharvest physiology. He has authored many research papers in International and National Journals and also contributed chapters to many books.
Aparna Rao, a keen researcher in the field of Agricultural Science, received her Master's and Ph.D. Degrees in the same subject, in 1998 and 2002 respectively. For the last six years she has been working as a Lecturer of Agricultural Science. She teaches Horticulture, Soil Science and Plant Biotechnology to Graduate and Postgraduate Students. Throughout, her career she has been associated with many Academic and Research Institutions.
Dr. Aparna has participated in many National and International Seminars on Agricultural Science. She has contributed more than 15 research articles in Journals of International repute.
