The Choice is a romantic novel that delves into the vital and heart wrenching question of how far a person would go in order to keep the hope of love alive in their lives.
The Choice tells the story of Travis Parker, who seems to have everything that one could possibly require for a good life. He lives in his dream house with a waterfront view in small town North Carolina, and he has a good job and loyal friends. Parker believes that a serious relationship with a woman would wreck his life, particularly when everything seems to be going well with all the swimming, boating, and regular barbecues with his friends.
Life would have continued in the same way, that is, until a gorgeous lady moves in next door. However, in spite of Parker’s attempts to be nice to his new neighbour, Gabby Holland seems to somehow shun his company. But Travis can’t help trying to charm his red haired neighbour, and his persistent attempts finally lead both of them to the threshold of a journey that neither of them could have ever foreseen.
The Choice is a signature Nicholas Spark love story. The book takes the readers on an interesting journey along with the main characters of the novel as their relationship transforms from that of neighbors to lovers. The novel spans the eventful years of the couples love, marriage and also family life. It also throws light on how the couple make tough choices to keep their love alive and how they overcome their respective barriers to be with each other.
The novel is primarily an inspiring and emotional story about love, trust, strength, and the choices that one has to make to keep their love alive. The Choice ultimately confronts the readers with one of the most essential questions of any relationship, how far would one go to keep the hope of their love alive?
